Andrew Wood CEO Since founding the company with a van and an apprentice in 2007, Andrew has built UPS into an award-winning regional contractor working with councils, housing associations across the North West. Andrew started his career as a joinery apprentice and is passionate about developing our future workforce, regularly spending time on site personally mentoring apprentices and attending careers events with schools and colleges.

Steve Parker Managing Director Steve joined UPS in 2021 and brings over 10 years’ experience leading and directing building contractor services predominantly within repairs and maintenance services in the social housing and private sector.

Kevin Whittaker HSQE Compliance Manager Kevin’s role is to monitor and enforce health, safety, quality and environmental standards across all UPS contracts. He advises our team on Health, safety, environmental and quality, carries out site audits and manages our ISO9001 and ISO14001 accreditations.

George Mills Senior Contacts Manager George oversees our adaptations contracts with Manchester City Council, Rochdale Borough Council, Trafford Council and Cheshire East Council. George is a PRINCE2 qualified project manager with a trade background and 18 years’ experience.

Dave Morris
Contracts Manager

Dave is an experienced contract manager with specialist expertise in disabled adaptations. Dave has worked for UPS for 7 years and manages our adaptations contracts with Wigan Council, Riverside Group and Chorley Council. Dave is SMSTS qualified and has 30 years’ experience including 23 years in the social housing sector.

Anthony Aitken Contract Manager Anthony joined UPS in 2018 as a site manager having previously worked for building maintenance contractors delivering planned refurbishment and adaptations in social housing properties. With support from UPS he has progressed to Contracts Manager overseeing disabled adaptations contracts including level access showers, shower over bath, ramps, minor adaptations and internal alterations.
